I came here because a friend recommended me their gnocchi. Oh my gosh, it was so good. We also got the seafood pasta. The portion was very big for both plates. The server were very friendly and serve as well. They don’t serve any dessert and we luckily brought our own cake. They provide a fork to us. The environment is full of special decorations from the owner, and I love that they put a wedding picture of the owner in the restaurant. I will definitely come back again and try more food.

We had amazing Service here. My spaghetti and meatballs was good. As as the salad. People at my table, had the Jeannine and clamps that they said was excellent. Our server went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, even though we had a two-year-old at the table. They have a lovely red wine in carafe’s for a good price. Not a bad place to check out. They have been around for years.

It's a great cozy Italian atmoshere but with limited seating. We arrived about 6 pm on a weekday, without reservation, and there was ample seating. By the time we finished (7-ish) there were people waiting for seats. The food was great and prices very reasonable. I recommend the house wine if you don't want authentic Italian wines. A very cozy atmosphere. Of course parking can be a pain (street parking in little Italy of SF) but if you don't know this ahead of time, parking generally sucks anywhere in San Francisco.

First time here and it was all that I expected from reading the story on the website. The food was so good, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Thanks Rachel for being so attentive and funny (we were keeping up with the football game and the Rams won...boo!) The beautiful wedding picture of the owner's parents on the wall, Mark who greeted us like we were family and gave us a hug on the way out and said hope to see you again soon. What a great place and experience. Too bad I don't live too close or I would definitely be there having a cocktail at the bar and enjoying dinner at least a few times a week. Don't worry we'll be back soon!

LOVED this place! Immediately greeted at the door and assured us we were welcome. We asked what time they closed because we didn’t want to be ‘those people’ at the last minute. They stay open until 9:30 and it was about 8:15. The waitress came right over and helped us with our decision. I asked for guidance as I do like to know what a staff might recommend. I ordered the Seafood Fettuccine and my wife got the Gnocchi Pesto. This all happened in under 5 minutes. We weren’t in a rush, but after our experience next door, (see other review for other Italian place) this was a nice change. Our food came out and was perfect in presentation and flavor. It was excellent! Thank you Sodini’s for making our dinner great! Great service and atmosphere! We like when there are no TVs and we have a favorite place in Texas that is very similar to this type of atmosphere. Brat pack music playing in the background. Low lighting, etc. There is a reason they have been around since 1906. Tried and true. Great job!

The Caprese is out of this world. I love the addition of red onion. The tomatoes and mozzarella are perfection. The tortellini is so good. We ate every bite. Pesto, white sauce, can’t go wrong. The atmosphere can’t be beat. We sat next to a signed phot of Frank Sinatra. Because of course he loved this place. We will be back!

Straight out of central casting! Old school and absolutely un apologetically old school family Italian food! These beautiful people have been making Italian food the old school way for over a hundred years! Get the lasagna, get the house salad..go home happy. The lasagna was rich in cheese, the marinara rich and the ricotta they I used is spectacular. My wife had the veal parm and it was beautiful. Trust Alex when she makes a recommendation! She’s served in most of the restaurants in the area before landing at SodinoI’s and knows the menu well!

Solid spot! Extremely generous portions that will definitely leave you full, and very well made food! Came in on a Friday and had a 20 minute wait for 2 people, which is not bad by SF standards. Staff is extremely friendly! FYI no desserts served here but there's plenty of late night dessert spots in the area
